Welsh Highland Railway
The Welsh Highland Railway is a 'narrow gauge' railway that runs from the quay at Caernarfon through the beautiful Welsh countryside to the village of Rhyd Ddu in the middle of Snowdonia and has several stops on the way. It is now possible to take the hire-bikes from Beics Menai on the train (with no extra charge for the bike) and ride back to Caernarfon by cycling along Lon Eifion through the beautifull Nantlle Valley on this 'traffic free' cycle path.
